I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus and count them but rubbish.

Good Point about Christian Books

April 29, 2007

My friend Brandon has got me ranting about this. In his blog post, “The Gospel According to Jesus Christ,” he goes off on the inability to find a good book at Barnes and Noble. As an addition here is, “I have Angst.”  It is annoying when you go and there is nothing but junk to read. […]

Faithfully Unproductive

April 26, 2007

I am by character a very administrative/managerial person. Not a bad quality at all. B/C of this I look at church and my work from a business standpoint. Not a bad thing in our capitalists/corporation driven society. There will be some who will say that the church is not a business and should not be […]

Growing Up Too Fast

April 25, 2007

A recent article I read on MSN prompted me to post this thought. I think the article is right on when they say many toys, shows and other products are targeted at this tween age. It forces them into a grown up state of mind perhaps before they should be. I especially don’t like the […]

Happy Birthday

April 23, 2007

Today is my son’s birthday. He is 6 years old. He is a great fellow to have around. He is full of life and happiness. Loves and laughs a lot. He really is a good child. If you have a child remember to hug them extra hard tonight b/c I will mine.

Still Alive!

April 23, 2007

Well I feel like I have neglected my pet the blog. Fortunately it will not be found lifeless in a corner starting to decay. It is actually doing well. But I will say I feel guilty for not being more attentive.  My reasons are numerous. The most consuming is the fact the my family and […]

The Right Choice

April 17, 2007

You would have to live in a cave to not know about the recent events that are taking place at Virginia Tech. Before I jump into my thoughts about a directly related topic I want to say how much we all surely feel the hurt for this event. Occurrences like this only fuel our understanding […]

Explosive Genius

April 16, 2007

I have in many ways attempted to put on this blog the things that I like or do. Hobbies, books and etc.  Today I wanted to speak about my love for playing the guitar. This serves as a great way to relax or expand my brain. Music as its been long publicized is a […]

God’s Path is Never Straight

April 9, 2007

This has probably been said several times in peoples lives. It becomes true every-time. God simply does not take the straight path to anything. I think sometimes that is why Faith is so important. I think that is why we have to live our lives with our eyes open. There will be chances that […]

Leaving Too Early

April 6, 2007

I am not a big Bob Huggins fan by any means. And this is not meant to bash him in anyway. As you will see its more of a leading into another question. It was confirmed that Bob Huggins (BH) would be leaving Kansas State as the head B-ball coach to go to coach at West Virginia this next season. […]

Separated at Birth?

April 6, 2007

It was brought up by someone a long time ago that Brandon here and I were separated at birth. I guess this theory was further called into question when the similarities in facial hair was presented. Btw, Brandon cannot take credit for this first. I had this facial hair back in the 90’s when I […]
