I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus and count them but rubbish.

Jesus in the Womb

There has been another sighting. Jesus has shown up in the lives of a family. Were they converted and saved from their sins? No. They went to the doctor for a check up.

That’s right according to Zeitgeisthere on his blog a couple went to have a check up for their upcoming birth and found something more than just that their baby is fine. He is doing great b/c hanging with their baby is not just anyone in there, but Jesus himself. That’s right, the couple claim Jesus is in the photo of their child.

Now I’ll admit if I squint and stand on my head I can see Jesus there…kind of…no still don’t have it…

The big problem with this deal is not that it doesn’t look like Jesus, but that so many today seem to be chasing after supernatural experiences and they are so hung and this search they begin to dream up supposedly supernatural moments, signs and blessings.

Whether this couple find this picture to be a supernatural moment or not the fact remains that many seek to find something more when we have been given so much more in the true God and His Son Jesus who saves us from our sins.

My hope is this family will have a good laugh and move on from this. Is it neat that it sort of looks like Jesus. Yeah lets all have a laugh, but let’s never make more of these things than them just being odd. Especially when God’s Word says such things are false.

  1. It looks more like Mr. T.

“I pity the fool that tries to abort this baby!”
